Born in Brisbane Queensland Australia where I completed my primary and high school education, I enlisted in the Australian navy at fifteen years of age serving nine years on eighteen ships and bases deploying overseas on four occasions.

​

It was during those first stages of my enlistment I took up pen and paper and began to journal my experiences, allowing a much-needed avenue of expressing and downloading my emotions without ridicule.

On the completion of my military service I entered a world that I had not seen since enlisting at fifteen years of age and the transition to civilian life was not without its difficulties.

In 2009 I released three coffee table books of poetry and in 2010 published the hardcover book 'The Poet' holding 121 poems. In 2024 I published a revised edition of 'The Poet' and in 2025 I published 'Just another book of F#ck@ng poetry - Infinite Destinies'.

​

Manuscripts in the preparation stages include an illustrated book of poetry 'Post apocalyptic silhouettes' in collaboration with a Queensland Sunshine Coast artist and a memoir of my experiences as a child in the full-time Australian navy as well as a book of love 'Whispered words of love'.

​

I now live and write on a small island off the east coast of Australia.
